If you're using the Kiwibit app to monitor and enjoy bird activity, your feedback helps improve bird identification and overall user experience. Here's how to easily submit feedback on any video clip.
Step 1: Launch the Kiwibit App

Launch the Kiwibit app on your phone.

At the bottom of the screen, tap the "Activity" tab.

You'll see a calendar and a list of recent bird videos recorded from your feeder.

Browse by date and select any video event you'd like to review.
Step 2: Watch the Video and Tap "Send feedback"

Tap on the video thumbnail to open it.

Play the video and observe the bird name and any labels shown.

If something looks wrong (e.g. incorrect bird identification), tap the "Send feedback" button below the timeline.
Step 3: Choose the Relevant Feedback Category
You'll now see a feedback form with several options. Choose all that apply:

Image quality issue – if the video is blurry or distorted.

Audio quality issue – if there's noise or missing sound.

Share a fun/beautiful video – to highlight special moments.

AI recognition issue – for misidentification or missed detections.

Under this, you can specify "Bird detection error".

Step 4: Add Extra Details

Scroll down to the "Others" section.

Tap "Click to add details" and type any clarifying information.Example: "This bird looks like a House Finch, not a House Sparrow."
Step 5: Consent and Submit Your feedback

Check the box that says: "I agree to send the original video (including all personal information) to help Kiwibit analyze the data."

Tap the green Submit button to send your feedback.
