The Kiwibit app allows you to monitor birds, automatically recognize species, and provide feedback to improve identification accuracy. Below is a walkthrough to help guide you through the process:
Step 1: Launch the Kiwibit App

Open the Kiwibit app on your mobile device.

You'll land on the Birds tab.
Step 2: Access the Latest Bird Activity

Tap on the Activity tab at the bottom of the screen.

A timeline of events titled "your bird feeder name" appears, sorted by time and date.

Each event includes a thumbnail, timestamp, and species identified (e.g., “House Sparrow”).
Step 3: Review a Specific Bird Visit

Tap on a thumbnail to review the full video of the bird visit.

The species name is shown below the video (e.g., House Sparrow).
Step 4: View Species Identification Confidence

Tap on the species name to open the "Possible Species" screen.

You'll see the species identified (e.g., House Sparrow) with a confidence percentage (e.g., 97%).
Step 5: Submit Feedback on Species Identification

From the species detail screen, tap "Mark as misrecognized" if the AI got it wrong.

You'll be taken to a feedback screen.

Enter the correct species in the provided input box and tap Submit to help improve the AI model.
