Your Kiwibit Beako™ Smart Bird Feeder has microSD card slot for local video storage alongside cloud options. This guide explains how to select, insert, manage, and use a microSD card.
Note: Your Kiwibit Beako™ Smart Bird feeder must first be added to the Kiwibit App before you can configure microSD settings.
How Local and Cloud Storage Work Together
When a microSD card is properly inserted into your Kiwibit Beako™ Smart Bird Feeder, any motion detected will trigger the recording of video footage, which is saved to the microSD card. Once the card is full, the system will automatically overwrite the oldest files.
To use motion-triggered recording, however, cloud storage must be enabled. This is because enabling Motion Detection automatically activates cloud-based analysis, even if you prefer to store footage locally.
- Footage is recorded to both the cloud and the microSD card.
- You can view cloud videos anytime, from anywhere.
- SD card videos can be accessed in the app as long as your device is online.
This dual-storage method offers convenience, security, and full control over your video content.
