Welcome to Kiwibit! We're excited to help you get started with your new camera. Follow these simple steps to set up your Battery Cam 1 and enjoy enhanced security and peace of mind.
Step 1: Register and Log In to the Kiwibit App

Download the Kiwibit app from the App Store or Google Play.

Open the app and follow the instructions to register a new account or log in if you already have one.
Step 2: Power On and Activate Pairing Mode

Open the rubber cover at the bottom of the camera to access the power button.

Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a startup sound and see a blue indicator light.

Double-click the power button to enter pairing mode. The blue indicator light will flash, and you will hear a repeating 'ding ding ding ding' sound every 8-9 seconds.Note: During initial setup, the camera should automatically enter pairing mode after powering on, so you don't need to double-click the power button.
Step 3: Connect the Camera to the Kiwibit App

Open the Kiwibit app and go to the Home page.

Tap 'Add Device', or tap the '+' icon at the top right and then select 'Add Device'.

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera to Wi-Fi.Note:

Please allow permissions like Bluetooth and Location to ensure the app can connect smoothly to your camera.

The camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so ensure you connect to a compatible network.

Once connected, the flashing light will turn solid, the repeating sound will stop, and you'll see the camera appear on the app's Home page.
Tips for Installing Your Camera
Once the camera has been successfully connected, you can proceed to install it. Before installation, please consider the following points:

Place the camera close enough to your Wi-Fi router to maintain a strong connection.

Mount the camera 7-10 ft (2-3m) high, angled slightly downwards (10°-15°) for the best motion detection.
